Sunday, Nov 13th 2016, join us for coffee and conversation at Gypsy Bean Baking on W.65th and Detroit Ave to learn more about DSA and discuss what we’re doing to organize after the election.
It is obvious to state that the the results of the Presidential election have brought up a wide range of emotions for those of us in the left. As disheartening as the realization of a Trump Presidency may be, now is the time that we must be vigilant. The different -isms and -phobias that are prevalent under capitalism will continue to manifest in various social and political forms and we need to be prepared to face that.
The Cleveland Local of the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) invites you to come have an open conversation with us on the current political climate. Some of you may have reached out and found DSA after Tuesday night’s results, while other may be familiar with us but feel the passion to engage more now. Either way we are looking to connect with newly motivated membership, and are ready to have the discussion to plan for what is next.
Please join us on Sunday, Nov. 13th at 3pm at Gypsy Bean in the Gordon Square/Detroit Shoreway neighborhood to connect, learn, and plan for the revolution. If you cannot attend but want to know more, feel free to reach out to us through Facebook, e-mail us at dsacleinternal@gmail.com, or attend our next general meeting – Thursday December 1st from 5:30-7pm at the Cleveland Public Library Lorain Branch (8216 Lorain Ave., Cleveland 44102).
