Instead of our normal readings we will be holding a comprehensive labor organizing training. This is an excellent opportunity to build the skills we need to change the world.
The training will consist of labor organizing methods, applicable to all varieties of campaigns, taught by experienced union organizers. Skills include how to carry out door knocking and canvassing campaigns, how to talk to people about organizing campaigns, mapping work places, labor laws and more. We will be meeting at the Martin Luther King Library starting at 1:00 pm and running for the rest of the afternoon, on Feb. 24th. Food will be provided. I hope to see you all there.
