Saturday, August 5: Cleveland Protests Trump’s Transgender Military Ruling

Meet at the Free Stamp in Willard Park downtown in Cleveland on Saturday at 10:00AM, and stand in solidarity with those protesting Trump’s recent transphobic actions.

Thursday, August 10: Labor Committee Tabling at Edgewater Live

Come join members of the AFL-CIO Young Workers and Cleveland DSA’s Labor Committee as we table about so-called “Right-to-Work” legislation during the Edgewater Live concert. Tabling will begin at 6:00pm in Edgewater Park, Cleveland.

Saturday, August 12: Town Hall with Alan Pugh in Elyria’s 5th Ward

Join Cleveland DSA member Alan Pugh for a community meeting and town hall on Saturday, August 12 from Noon to 2:00pm. Alan is running for Elyria City Council At-Large and this is his first community meeting to discuss the issues facing Elyria’s residents and present his vision for a progressive city government.

Tuesday, August 15: Gerrymandering 101 and Petition Training

Westlake Porter Public Library, Westlake OH, 7:00pm.
The Greater Cleveland League of Women Voters will hold a discussion and a training as part of the Fair District Ohio Campaign. Come out and learn how we are working to end gerrymandering in the State House, and join in this campaign for more fair and democratic elections.
